The crystal clear acrylic that John-Richard uses on some items is a wonderful decorative material. Over time, very fine scratch marks may appear on the surface of the acrylic through normal dusting and cleaning. These small scratches can be easily removed using commercially available acrylic cleaning/repair products. Under no circumstances should any abrasive pads, cloths, etc., be used on acrylic.

Cleaning Instructions: ACRYLIC CARE INSTRUCTIONS Clear Acrylic is an important design material especially for more contemporary furnishings. The acrylic that John-Richard uses in almost all cases is a super-clear material which is almost as transparent as glass. To care for your acrylic product and ensure that it retains its clarity and beauty over time, please follow these simple care guidelines. Do not expose acrylic to direct sunlight for long periods of time. Even the best acrylic may yellow after a few years if exposed to direct sunlight. Clean your acrylic item with a clean damp cloth. You may use a mild soap if required to remove heavier grime but, in this case, make sure you remove excess soap by using a damp/wet cloth, without soap, after the dirt is removed. Do not use any cleaning product containing ammonia or other solvents as they may cause an adverse reaction resulting in a cloudy or uneven surface. Over time, even with the best of care, your acrylic item may develop very tiny scratches on the surface causing it to look slightly cloudy. In this case we recommend using one of the commercially available acrylic repair kits or acrylic buffing compounds. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions to bring the acrylic back to its original clear condition.

Lead Times:

This premium process results in significantly less damage issues. The process is longer, but in the long run there's less aggravation for our customers. We prefer to do things the right way instead of at rushed pace like some of our competitors.

Shipping Service Levels:

Threshold Delivery: All small parcel shipments are delivered by a common carrier (Fedex, UPS, USPS). Threshold Delivery for Freight & Oversized shipments will be delivered to the first dry location outside of the home/building such as a porch or garage. If you have a long driveway some freight trucks cannot deliver onto the driveway.

White Glove Delivery: This service upgrade includes bringing the product(s) in to the room of your choice, removing the box, and performing basic furniture assembly. This service includes delivery up 1 flight of stairs and/or an elevator. This does not include lighting assembly or installations that would require mounting an item to a wall, ceiling, or modifying a customer's property in any way. This service is not refundable within 24 hours of delivery.

White Glove Delivery Premium: This service offers all of the white glove perks plus the addition of removing and disposing of the packaging and debris. This service is not refundable within 24 hours of delivery.

White Glove Delivery + Furniture Removal and Donation: Includes everything in premium, but with the addition of removing the old furniture and providing a tax deductible donation receipt for the removed product(s).

Restrictions:

We ship nationwide excluding AK, HI, and some remote locations. Remote locations in addition to international shipments will be quoted on a case by case basis. Some examples of remote are but not limited to: Fire Island, Nantucket, Martha's Vineyard...

Signatures will usually be required on shipments over $500.

Restricted locations may require quantity minimums or be undeliverable.You may have the option to pay extra for on a case by case basis.
