A starburst marquetry pattern, which is a consistent theme of the Driftwood Collection, emanates from the center point of the tray.
Inspired by the soft sandy hues of driftwood, the surface pattern of this collection is achieved by building each piece out of individual, precision-cut pieces of mango wood. Although each is a tour de force of carpentry, the effect is effortless and casual. To achieve the distinctive sun-bleached look, the pieces are first lightened and then given a subtle creamy wash.
